Golden Guru Rinpoche Statue
€90.75
Statue of Padmasambhava represented in his characteristic form, holding the vajra, the kapala and the khatvanga. His expression combines majesty and compassion.
Once purchased, the statues are consecrated. What does this mean? The term consecrate comes from the Latin consecrāre: con- (together or entirely) and sacrare (to make sacred, to dedicate to the sacred). It is a ritual through which an object becomes a spiritual support, attributing value for practice, and a special moment in which the statue is given "life", filling it with small rolled mantras, substances and symbols. This is done by Lama Ngawang Norbu, the master of the centre. For this reason, delivery may take an additional 2 to 3 weeks.
